10 lb Louisiana Crawfish Co Shrimp & Crawfish Jambalaya Turducken
Partially deboned turkey stuffed with a boneless duck breast, boneless chicken breast and mouth-watering Shrimp and Crawfish Jambalaya. Serves 10-15
- Thawing Instructions: Turducken must thaw completely before cooking. For best results, remove from box, leave in vacuum-sealed bag and thaw in refrigeration for approximately 3 1/2 days prior to cooking.
- Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove from bag and place completely thawed bird, breast side up (string side down) in a non-stick, greased roasting pan. The legs and wings cook faster so place foil over these areas. Loosely cover the entire bird with a tent of aluminum foil. The foil should not be tucked in. When baking gently move the bird around to prevent sticking and baste with butter to achieve a golden brown color. Bake covered for approximately 2 hours. Remove foil and continue baking uncovered approximately 2 huors longer. Internal temperature of entire bird much reach a minimum of 165°F. Remove from oven and let rest 45 minutes to 1 hour. The inside will remain hot. Gently and carefully transfer to a serving platter. Remove string and wings to facilitate carving. Cut in half vertically from the neck to the leg area and carve the individual slices horizontally. Enjoy!

Wife's mistake
My wife ordered the wrong item. I am so happy she did!! This was the star of Thanksgiving on our dock (we are live aboard Sailors). I was able to cook it on the grill at the Marina, and it turned out to be amazing. We will buy it again for the next holiday!
Turducken
Excellent as always!
Great buy
I always wanted to try this for years and this year I decided to give it a try. It was literally perfect and the price is great for the flavor you’re getting. It will be a yearly tradition to order one now. Shipping was fast and arrived right on time for Thanksgiving!
Louisiana Shrimp and crawfish Jambalaya
As always, it was wonderful. We had 15 people over for thanksgiving and served a 10 pounder.. There was enough left to send some home with the college students and freeze some for later.
Thanks, John
Turduken
Purchased 10 lbs. Followed instructions and it came out perfectly.
Absolutely fantastic!
I picked up this turducken for a shared meal to celebrate a bunch of autumn birthdays, and everyone enjoyed this show stopper of a main course. I'm so used to things not looking like they do in a picture, but with a little bit of butter to use as a baste, the skin on the turkey really did come out golden and crisp! I let my brother do the carving, and with a very sharp knife we really were able to get those photo-worthy cross sections (although our stuffing was a bit more on the bottom than neatly tucked in like the pictures, but that was no matter at all). These birds taste as good as they look, and they looked fantastic as the centerpiece of our big meal. You probably expect it already ordering from friendly folks down in Louisiana, but if you weren't expecting it already, I'll mention that the jambalaya has a really pleasant kick to it. Nothing that's going to make your eyes water from the heat, but just enough spice to keep you on your toes, and fantastic flavor all around. I wish they'd found more room to stuff more stuffing inside, but then there wouldn't have been room for three birds!
