JUMBO Value pack
JUMBO CRAWFISH.. Value pack, ain't no joke. Its like 5lbs of miniature lobsters for one person! Back in. February, I did 10lbs of field run for the superbowl. They were good, a little small, but good. Took me a couple hours to dig through those and then 3 more to finish peeling them for a gumbo recipe I have. Not that I hate peeling crawfish, but it was a little much for one day...
Enter JUMBO CRAWFISH...Oh Yeah! Big as your hand, half the seasoning bag in the boil, the other half dusted on top, and used the shipping container after I rinsed it out well. Lemons, onions, head of garlic whole, celery stalks, couple a sausages, fresh corn on the cob with extra hot sauce in the boil and ran that for 10 minutes. Added the dinner guests.. for an addition 3 minutes and let them soak for 10 more. Tried one, right from the pot.. not that spicy flavor I was hoping for.
Out comes the shipping container, in goes the entire pot, minus the liquid. Half way filled, dusted heavy from the remaining seasoning, dumped the rest in and emptied the bag on them... and then half a bottle of hot sauce over top of everything!
I ate the entire 5lbs... and most of the extras I added.. my god was it good. Only way I'll be doing these again. Find a hot sauce you like. Your lips should tingle, fingers turn red and crawfish disappear!

When they arrived and after a good cleaning and picking out a few dead ones the boil was on. Amazing boil package with great flavor. Can’t wait until the next batch.
