Perfectly Delicious!
We got 60lbs of the purged crawfish for our annual 4th of July party, and everything went off without a hitch! Since they were delivered the day before, we added some damp towels and switched out ice packs to insure they did not wake up until we were ready to boil, and I don't think there was a single one not still alive. Total hit at our party, but we WAY over ordered based on all recommendations of at least 2 lbs per person...forgot to take into account that in CO people just don't normally eat that much crawfish! We still cooked it all, iced it, and my husband and I took the extra time the next day to shuck all the tails, make some super rich seafood broth, and freeze it all for the future. Will definitely be ordering again, just maybe enough next time for only the two of us!!
