I have been doing business with this wonderful family company for years! They always send the best and never fail to disappoint! I can count on one hand the number of dead crawfish and I order multiple pounds several times a year. AND I live in California! Once I had to cancel an order at the last minute and they were so accommodating! No matter what I order, their products are ALWAYS superior! As I have said before, if you don't use Louisiana Crawfish Company as your seafood supplier, then you deserve to have a net thrown over you!

Jumbos
First order was “select”. They were great. Second order “field run”. OK. Most recent order “jumbo”. My husband and son both said we can only order jumbos from now on. “THEY WERE AWESOME!!!”

I ordered 10lbs of Jumbo Crawfish for a last minute crawfish boil. They were delivered as promised and in good condition. Everyone loved them! Would definitely order again!

Huge bugs!
While they were huuuge and flavorful, there was quite a bit of dead loss that we didn't have with the other 30# of selects. The dead loss we had showed huge holes in the heads. Probably 10# of dead loss. We always expect some for shipping from LA to NM, but we usually only have 15-20 piece count dead. With the jumbo, it was about 10 pounds.
Jumbo Crawfish purchase
I purchased Jumbo crawfish for a boil with our neighbors in California which turned tout to be a mistake. While the crawfish were large, the shells were too hard for most of our guests to peel them without the aid of a kitchen shears. Also, there were more dead crawfish in the shipment than we normally have from LA crawfish with about a pound of dead ones. I am not sure if this was due to handling or because the big ones don't survive the shipping as well. I won't purchase Jumbos again.
