Kary's Bisque Mix


Bisque is a thick, rich soup made famous by New Orleans $ Cajun chefs! 

  • Ingredients: Kary's dry roux( flour, wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, folic acid) tomato powder, onion flakes, salt sugar, monosodium glutamate, natural shrimp flavor, granulated onion spices, granulated garlic, black pepper, paprika, dehydrated green bell pepper.

Cooking Instructions: DO NOT COVER POT WHEN COOKING.

  • In a medium pot bring 8 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and whisk contents of bag into water. Return to medium-high heat and boil for 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Add 1 pound of seafood (crawfish, shrimp or crabs) and a 6 oz can of crabmeat (optional). Add one 10 oz can of cream of shrimp or cream of mushroom soup (optional). Stir well.
  • Bring to a second boil, then cook on medium for 20 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles or crackers.
