Soft Shell Shrimp
Fried Soft Shell Shrimp:
Egg wash with two eggs, 1/4 cup of mustard, and 1/3 cup of milk and cajun seasoning. Then dredge in seasoned Zatarains or seasoned corn flour. Fry until crispy in vegetable oil at 350f.
When the ad for the soft shell shrimp popped up on Facebook the other night, I couldn&#39;t help myself and ordered some. It was hard to wait until today to receive them but we were not disappointed. Sweet, succulent and nice, if varied, in size. We cooked them up two ways: one, following the directions here on the website; two, in a more Asian, crunchy salt and pepper shrimp style. Both were great, although I preferred the latter. Even the less adventurous at the table tried some and were pleased. Great product, efficient service; as always. Thank you, Louisiana Crawfish Company for making something special out of an otherwise mundane Tuesday night!
