*We are unable to ship LIVE crawfish to Hawaii, Washington, Michigan, Idaho or Oregon due to restrictions by Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. If you are in Oregon, you may obtain a permit from Rick Boatner at (503)947-6308. If you are in Idaho, you may obtain a permit from Bethany Gaddis at (208)332-8626.
*Additional shipping charges of $0.50/lb for perishable shipments and $3.00/lb for non perishable shipments apply to orders being shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.
*For incorrect addresses a $15.00 address change fee will be applied or arrangements to pick up your shipment will need to be made with the carrier.
*If purchasing perishable items as a gift it is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify the recipient of the delivery.
*FedEx/UPS orders are released without a signature unless requested in the special comments section during checkout. If a signature is requested there will be a charge of $5.00 added to your order. Louisiana Crawfish Co and FedEx or UPS will not be responsible for orders delivered to the requested address that are left unattended.
*If there is ANY problem with your perishable order we must be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery.
*Orders being shipped to Canada are by phone order only as additional shipping charges apply.
*Southwest Cargo® Shipping charges are determined by Southwest Cargo®. General Freight Averages $0.81-$0.92/lb with a 100lb minimum charge. ($81-$92)

Ground shipments: There are no guarantees for transit time between packages shipped November 28 and December 24.
Can you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
Yes, however it is best to call ahead to check your zip code for overnight service.
There is an additional shipping charge of $0.50/lb.
Is there anywhere you cannot ship in the US?
Please note we CANNOT ship Live Crawfish into Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Idaho or Michigan per the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries...We CAN ship Boiled Crawfish.

Where are you located?
Our main farm and facility is located in Natchitoches, LA - established in 1714 as the oldest permanent settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. We also have an additional shipping facility located in New Orleans!
What are some interesting facts about crawfish?
They are an excellent source of high-quality protein. They are low in calories, fat, and saturated fat. They are a good source of vitamins. Crawfish muscle fibers are shorter than the muscle fibers in red meats and are more easily digested. Crawfish are packed with nutrients such as biotin, calcium, iron, niacin, phosphorus, protein, selenium, vitamin A, vitamin B-6, and vitamin B-12. It takes approximately 7 pounds of live crawfish to yield 1 pound of peeled tails. Large, mature crawfish have a lower yield of meat per pound than immature crawfish. Although crawfish tend to be higher in cholesterol than most other shellfish, a 3.5-ounce serving provides only about half of the daily recommended allowance. Consuming a diet high in seafood has been shown to reduce the incidence of Alzheimer's, angina, stroke, asthma, heart disease and cancer.
