Cookin' Cajun Jambalaya Mix


INGREDIENTS: long grain parboiled rice, iron phosphate, niacin, thiamine monoitraits, folic acid, dehydrated: onion, tomato; dried chicken broth, dehydrated bell pepper, green onion; flavorings ( dextose, smoked yeast , natural flavor, silicon dioxide, yeast extract), dehydrated garlic; herbs & spices ( including bay leaf, thyme, black pepper, red pepper, white pepper, ground celery seed), dehydrated parsley, celery dehydrated parsley, marjoram.

ALLERGY INFORMATON: shares facilities and equipment with products that contain milk, eggs, wheat, soybeans, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish.

Directions: Melt 2 tbsp of butter or margarine in a large deep sided frying pan. Add 3/4 to 1lb of chicken, sausage, and/or cubed ham and brown well. Add 8 oz of crushed tomatoes, Cookin' Cajun Jambalaya Mix and 2 1/2 cups of water. Stir well to combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until rice is done. Turn off heat. If desired add cooked seafood such as shrimp, crawfish, crab or lobster, stir once and allow to steam for 5 minutes before serving.
